Heinz Memorial Chapel

Heinz Memorial Chapel

Heinz Memorial Chapel was a gift to the University of Pittsburgh from HJ Heinz, the founder of the Heinz Company. Featuring intricate stone and wood carvings, a powerful pipe organ, and some of the tallest stained glass windows in the world, a guided visit to Heinz Memorial Chapel is sure to wow your group. Easy walking distance to museums, attractions and restaurants within the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, the Chapel fits well into many different itineraries. In addition to guided visits, groups can schedule an organ concert, an in-depth tour and talk with the Chapel historian or a performance opportunity.
