Destination: Greater Pittsburgh (DGP) is a regional tourism promotion organization made up of attractions, restaurants, hotels, destination marketing organizations and service providers in Western Pennsylvania. We work together to create a positive awareness of the Greater Pittsburgh Region among tour companies and group leaders; provide networking and sales opportunities for our members; and help create the best possible experiences for those who include the Greater Pittsburgh Region in their travel plans.

Three Rivers Arts Festival is underway
The sounds of summertime in Pittsburgh return to the Cultural District as the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, a production of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests and artists for 10 days of free art and music June 2-11, 2023
SummerSounds Concerts in the Laurel Highlands
Enjoy free live concerts every Friday until the end of August in Greensburg. Each concert begins at 7 p.m. and all parking in Greensburg after 5 p.m. is free. Bring your lawn chairs, grab a dance partner, and enjoy the sweet summer sounds at St. Clair Park.
WaterFire Sharon: July 22nd and September 16th, 2023

WaterFire Sharon incorporates over fifty sparkling bonfires ablaze on the Shenango River emitting the fragrant scent of aromatic cedar and pine as silhouettes of fire tenders pass by the flames. The day will be filled with enchanting music and diverse performers from around the globe.

On Sunday, May 28th the DGP family lost a true friend. Paula Shaffer, Area Director of Sales for Hampton Inn Greensburg and longtime DGP board member peacefully passed away after a year and half long cancer battle.
