Mercer County PA is located one hour north of Pittsburgh at the crossroads of I-79 and I-80. The area is best known for great shopping that includes Grove City Premium Outlets, one of America’s top ranked outlet centers, The Winner as well as two fabulous chocolate candy stores: Daffin’s Candies and Philadelphia Candies.  Our attractive region also prides itself on the specialty shop; Wendell August, where you will find handcrafted metal giftware, tours and a history center.  One of the largest permanent displays of American Flags flying anywhere in the world can be found at the Avenue of 444 Flags. Also at this site is the War on Terror Veterans Memorial. 

Seasonal displays that attract both young and old can be found at Kraynak’s, which include the very popular Santa’s Christmasland and Easter Bunnylane, featuring your favorite fictional characters feverishly decorating for the holidays.  The area has also become known for the regional art and music installation-WaterFire Sharon, PA, which showcases 50 bonfires on the Shenango River, enchanting music, diverse performers and artists.

Gather a group of your closest friends and travel the Wine & Brew Trail of Mercer County, PA. The trail offers a great experience for groups of all kinds: girls’ night out, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family gatherings, vacationers, class reunions, retirement parties, and date nights. The dates for Waterfire 2022 are July 23rd and September 17th.
