Strip District Market Tour                                                               

The Strip District Market tour features a behind-the-counter look at a variety of eateries in Pittsburgh's Historic market district. This tour links local history with the restaurants and shops peppered along Penn Avenue with samples from around the world including Italian pastries, Mediterranean specialties, Polish specialties, and European meats.

 

Bloomfield Tour

Sometimes referred to as Pittsburgh’s ‘Little Italy’, this can’t miss Bloomfield tour carves a path through the streets of one of Pittsburgh's treasured neighborhoods. Explore Italian eateries and samplings of pizza, biscotti and other sweet & savory delights. Pittsburgh architectural historian, Franklin Toker says of Bloomfield it is, “a feast, as rich to the eyes as the homemade tortellini and cannoli in it’s shop windows are to the stomach.”

 

Lawrenceville Tour

Lawrenceville is a walking tour rich in American history and replete with creative and unique business owners that are pursuing their artisan dreams. Both the historic content and the food on this tour represent Lawrenceville's past history as a blue-collar working community and its recent up-scale and artistic renaissance into the hip urban neighborhood it has become. Tastings include Greek specialties, authentic Italian lasagna, cupcakes, perogies, and one of the 'Burgh's best sausage sandwiches.

 

Brookline Tour

Allentown, a historic Pittsburgh community siting high above the South Side Flats was settled in the early 19th century by German immigrants. This now edgy neighborhood features a coffee shop & a vegan restaurant dedicated to heavy metal and punk rock, a friendly neighborhood diner that houses a caterer and deli, Caribbean food and a beloved local pizza venue. Experience & enjoy the bountiful samplings of the local eateries. Your stomach will be glad you did. *Not all tastings are vegan
